Mr. Lewis is originally from Brewton, Alabama. He received a Bachelors Degree from the University of Alabama in Electrical Engineering in 1986; and in 1987 worked as a research engineer for Dynetics, Inc. conducting counter research strategies for the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI). He gained experience in Securities in 1988 and 1989 while working as a Securities Representative for Progressive Capital, Inc. in Memphis, Tennessee. Prior to joining Gardnyr Michael Capital, Inc., Mr. Lewis worked for Compass Bank in their Public Finance department, from 1992 to 1996, where he was involved with over 33 municipal underwritings totaling over $500,000,000. From January 1990 until June 1992, Mr. Lewis served as Assistant Football Coach for both the University of Alabama and the University of Kentucky.
