Gardnyr Michael Capital, Inc. was formed in 1991 by Jim Pietkiewicz and Pfilip Hunt. Prior to forming the company, both principals worked for Southeastern Municipal Bonds, Inc., another Florida-based regional firm located in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Pietkiewicz served as the senior trader and underwriter for that firm while Mr. Hunt served as a research analyst and investment banker. Subsequent to forming Gardnyr Michael, the company has grown from two employees to fifteen with six offices in Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia, and Florida.. The company specializes in public finance and municipal leasing for cities, counties, states, authorities, governmental agencies and not-for-profit corporations.

The companys investment bankers and salesmen have over 100 years of combined experience in all areas of public finance including: originations / research / computer analysis / underwriting / trading / sales / operations.
