USDA - Rural Development
William Weathers in the Flagler Beach,
Florida office has served in various
capacitites throughout his long 28 year
career with the USDA Farmers Home
Administration including cheif of the FMHA
community programs for the State of Florida
as well as serving in the national office in
Washington, DC. Mr. Weathers retired from
FMHA in 1991 and became an investment banker
and since that times he has completed over
$100 million in interim bond financings, far
more than any other lender in the State of
Florida.
Today the USDA Rural Development (fka
Farmers Home Administration) has several
programs for grants and low interest loans
that benfit rural and smaller municipal
clients, as well as businessses locating in
those qualifying areas.
